Thank you for choosing our office, where we have created a comfortable environment in which you can feel confident about the dental care you receive. We believe that good dental care begins with open communication, and we promise to speak candidly with you. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership with one common goal - keeping your teeth, gums and jaw joints healthy!
Before Your Appointment
After you've scheduled your first appointment, you'll need to fill out some forms for us. You can find the forms here. These forms will provide us with your medical and dental history, contact information, and insurance information. If you cannot fill out these forms digitally, you will need to arrive 15-20 minutes early. To ensure you receive the most accurate copay information, we recommend providing your insurance information at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows our staff to contact your insurance company and receive the most up to date information about your coverage and if we are in network. If our office is out of your insurance network, you may be required to pay for your procedure up front and be reimbursed by your insurance company after your appointment claim has been filed. For additional information about insurance and payment contact our office. You will also receive text message notifications and a courtesy call to remind you about your appointment. At this time you can cancel or alter your appointment time if needed, as well as ask questions about procedures, payment, insurance, or patient forms.
At Your Appointment
When you arrive for your appointment, you will park in the patient parking lot directly in front of the building. When you enter, check in with our front desk. If you fill out your forms ahead of time, we will confirm that we have the correct information. If you did not fill out forms ahead of time, we will provide you with a physical copy and you can complete the forms in our waiting room. For new patients, you will typically see the hygienist. She will get a full set of x-rays and conduct a professional cleaning to remove any tartar and plaque buildup on your teeth. She will review any concerns you may have about your teeth and oral hygiene. Once your cleaning is completed, the hygienist and dentist will review your x-rays, perform an oral exam and review your dental history to create a treatment plan. If there are any concerns or necessary treatment they will provide you a copy of your treatment plan. At this time they will consult with our billing coordinator who will inform you of any potential costs. If you do not need a follow-up visit, you will be scheduled for your next cleaning, which is considered the standard for preventive oral health.
After Your Appointment
Your appointment with the hygienist and dentist will typically last 60 minutes. After your appointment, you will check out at our front desk and schedule any follow-up visits. If you have a treatment plan that requires fillings, extractions, deep cleanings, or other forms of non-preventative care our office will consult with you and your insurance carrier on costs. If you require treatment that is not performed in our office, such as root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, orthodontics, or other major oral surgery our dentist will refer you to a specialist to ensure you receive the best care possible.
